Our Story
Founded in 2023 by Rich Johnson, a passionate shooter and local corrections officer, Catfish Capital Guns & Ammo, LLC is a small in home shop aiming to serve the community.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of firearms from handguns to rifles, including a few used firearms. We are also a full service NFA dealer. We can take care of the entire NFA process in the shop, including photo, and electronic fingerprints. We have a certified Glock and AR armorer in house, and hope to start offering the North Dakota concealed weapon class very soon, as well. We also offer gun storage space for folks traveling to Canada utilizing a small locker. You can provide the padlock, or we have a few available for sale. All keys to the padlock must be taken with the owner to comply with ATF rules. Also, all purchased firearms must leave the premises in a locked case due to us being located across the street from a school.
Our Commitment
Quality and safety are the cornerstones of our business. We rigorously vet all products and advocate for responsible gun ownership. We are also active in the community, supporting local law enforcement initiatives and national firearms advocacy organizations. Our founder is also a member of the Drayton park board.

Visit us in person at 406 W Grant Ave, Drayton, ND. The gun store entrance is at the back of the house, on the south side. Please check Facebook for current open hours, as my main job schedule has changed, and also changes weekly. My normal open hours are Tuesday-Friday 6pm to 9pm, and Saturday 9am to 6pm. I hope to get back to those hours within a few months.
